Hema is a Speech Language Pathologist. She received a dual degree in Speech and Language Pathology and Audiology from Sri Ramachandra University, India, and has had work experience in medical, clinical and academic settings.

She currently works with children between the ages of 2 to 16 with language delays, difficulties with speech production/ articulation, stuttering or social comminication difficulties.

Hema believes that every child should have a voice, and adopts a child-centred approach to therapy. Her methods involve using play in an evidence-based way, and to make communication motivational enough for childean to participate.

She enjoys including the whole family in therapy, as well as creating goals together with caregivers in order to maximise each child’s potential.
