Théa's Playroom is designed to provide rich learning opportunities in a unique, caring and stimulating environment for babies and children aged 3 months to 4 years old. Théa's Playroom gives each and every child the best start in life. Your child will flourish and beam with happiness under our care.
Our child-centred approach promotes the development of creativity, individuality and self-confidence as well as cognitive, emotional and physical development through working in partnership with parents to provide the highest standards of nursery care.
Théa's Playroom caters for parents with full-time or part-time jobs and is open from 8.30am to 7pm Monday to Friday. Emergency care/drop-off services are also available for those who just need a couple of hours to run errands, work or have some time to themselves! We are open all year round, except for public holidays or on some occasions, training and events.
At The Energy Source, we work hard to make sure our children have the right skills for school. Each child is unique and we individually nurture each and every child to make sure that they are the best versions of themselves.
How many children will be at my child's day nursery?
Théa's Playroom maintains a certain number of staff dependent on how many children they're caring for. This is roughly one staff member for every:
three children under two
five children between two and four
The exact ratios may change however based on the size of the setting, the child's development and the child's needs.
What will my child do at day nursery?
Théa's Playroom is all about creating a place where babies and children can play, learn, eat and rest. There will be opportunities to do sensory play, listen to stories and for music and movement. There is also an outside space to get some fresh air.
Children will also be able to enjoy explorative play, where they can choose what they would like to do. Your child will have plenty of opportunities to socialise with other children.
