Sensory Stimulation

It can range from something as simple as a hand massage with scented lotion or listening to a playlist of favourite music to more complicated activities designed to provide a sensory experience.

Increased Emotional Awareness

Emotional awareness means knowing when feelings are present in ourselves and others. Increased emotional awareness also relates to the development of emotional skills, such as healthy coping skills, as well as an improved sense of self-confidence and self-esteem.

Motor Development

Motor development refers to the development of a child’s bones, muscles and ability to move around and manipulate his or her environment. Motor development divides into two sections: gross motor development and fine motor development.

Social Skills
