Hyma is our Senior Lead Interventionist and Play Therapist. She oversees the Early Intervention Programme and Play Therapy Programmes at The Energy Source. She has over 7 years of experience working with neurodivergent children and teenagers.

She is also trained in various different areas, such as Learning support for children with Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and Autism; Social Thinking, Expressive Therapy, and Lego Therapy.

When working with children, she always focuses on the child’s specific needs and learning styles. As each child is unique in their own way, she utilises their strengths and interests in my sessions to help them become confident and independent learners.

She believes that children learn best when they are having fun, so she always makes sure that lessons are designed in a fun and interactive way, using a multi-sensory approach, games and movements to create a wholesome learning experience.

Most importantly, she focuses on the positives and celebrate every little success the child makes. At The Energy Source, we provide a safe space for children to express themselves and facilitate their learning by providing high-quality and inclusive education, therapy and support for the children and families we work with.
